Plymouth Barracuda 1966

Presentation

Eligible for the historic Monte Carlo, this car was sold new on September 15, 1966 by French importer Simca Automobiles. The car has a striking yellow livery with black roof, wheels and stripes, giving it an American racing look. The interior is adorned with the finest skai upholstery and features a center console, which was an option at the time. Mechanically, the Barracuda is equipped with a 4.5-liter, 180 hp V8 engine and a 4-speed manual gearbox. When I tested it, I was surprised at how easy this muscle car was to use. The manual transmission makes full use of the engine’s power to climb the revs.
